History

Jalgaon district is the leading district in Maharashtra in terms of glorious, rich culture and religion. Satpuda is a mountain in the north of Jalgaon district and it is a fertile area of Suryakanya Tapi river. On the Yaval to Ankleshwar highway, Adgaon Fata is north of Chincholi Kinggaon on the Chopda to Yaval state road. Srimanudevi shrine is just 9 kms up from this Adgaon fork. There is a temple of Lord Hanuman 6 kms up from this Andgaon fork on the way to Shrimanudevi Tirthkshetra. The road leading to Shri Hanuman temple is paved. There is a beautiful Pazar lake near the Shri Hanuman temple.

Srimanudevi Tirtha Kshetra is about 3 kms up from Sri Hanuman Temple. The organization has constructed this 3 km unpaved road with the help of Maharashtra government. So now private vehicles (two wheelers, autorickshaws, cars, jeeps, taxis etc.) can go directly to the temple. Jalgaon to Srimanudevi temple is 35 km.
